Header Opinions?

I'm back, and looking for input on a couple of headers I've made. You've always been so helpful in the past. =D

Weapon of choice: Photoshop 7.0

Yeah. So I've developed this all-encompassing crush on Brit actor Matthew Goode, and he's re-energized my desire to 'Shop. :flails:

IDEK. I was feeling ecclectic or something, and liked the idea of using a bunch of different things. Is it too scattered?

I made this one for a friend of mine. She wanted two images in the same header, and it was hard to blend them in a way that I was really pleased with. This was the closest I got. What do you think? Interesting? Creepy?

Inquiring minds and such...

Yee! Thank you!

I think the first one actually needs more clutter. I am of the opinion that if you're going to go for that look don't do it by halves!

I'm actually of the same opinion, but then I started overthinking it and worried that it was getting to be too much. Adding more stuff makes it fun!

Or maybe flipping the image itself, so that he's facing the other way 'into' the header rather than 'out' of it.

I never would've thought of that -- but I like the way it looks when I picture it in my head. I'll try it and see what happens.

For the second one, that's what happened when I used "lighten," lol. But I see what you mean; it's got this sort of "not-fully-formed twin" thing going and that is creepy. I'll play with it some more and try to get the other arm to show.

I don't consider it finished, no. I got to this point and wanted to get input before I went any deeper. There'll probably be another texture or two added -- I like textures. I was undecided on text, though. Any suggestions?

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at these. I really appreciate it! ♥
